Multicolored patchwork ultrasuede coat and skirt set from Todd Oldham's Fall 1991 runway. This ultrasuede set was displayed as part of the 2016 RISD Museum retrospective, "All Of Everything: Todd Oldham Fashion. Classic longline coat and matching pencil skirt in handcut square patchwork is finished with zigzag stitching that's full of suede style that's lightweight and perfect for spring. Strong padded shoulders with dropped shoulder seams create a relaxed boxy boyfriend fit with cheerful enameled glass buttons and single welt slash pockets. Matching pencil skirt with side zipper continues the clean lines. Both pieces fully lined. We would wear both pieces together over a cotton tank with the sleeves pushed up, finished with sneakers, and gold statement earrings though each piece can easily be worn separately for ultimate versatility. Tan, olive, butter yellow, magenta, orange-red, dark teal.
